杉並区では、外国人学校に通学する児童生徒の保護者に、授業料などの負担を軽減するために補助金を交付しています。
■申込期間：9月1日～9月30日（必着）
■要件：次の全てを満たす必要があります
- 学校教育法に基づく認可を受けた外国人学校に、義務教育年齢に該当する児童生徒を通学させている
- 児童生徒および保護者が区内に住所を有し、同一世帯である
- 児童生徒または児童生徒の父もしくは母が、日本国籍を有していない
- 授業料を納付している
■助対象期間・申請方法：今回は上半期（4月～9月）分。学校ごとに申請方法等が異なりますので、詳細はお問い合わせください。なお、「学校教育法」に基づく認可を受けた外国人学校に該当するかどうかは、通学している学校に確認してください。
■補助金額：月額7,000円×上半期のうち授業料を支払った月数

Suginami Ward provides subsidies to parents of students attending foreign schools to reduce the burden of tuition and other expenses.
■Application Period : September 1 – September 30 (must arrive no later than September 30)
■Requirements：All of the following must be met
- The applicant has a child of compulsory education age attending a foreign school approved under the School Education Law.
- The student and his/her parent/guardian reside in the ward and belong to the same household
- The student or the student’s father or mother is not a Japanese citizen.
- Tuition fees have been paid.
■Subsidy Eligibility Period and Application Method：
This application is for the first half of the year (April to September). Application procedures differ for each school, so please contact us for details. Please check with the school you are attending to see if it is an approved foreign school under the “School Education Law”.
■Subsidy amount：7,000 yen per month x the number of months during the first half of the year for which tuition fees are paid
